Common Types of Scalp Enhancement Procedures

Hair Line Restoration

Hair line restoration is on of the most common SMP procedures I do here at Designer Brows. Many things can cause you to have a receding hairline. Genetics, consistent tight hair style or even stress. If your hair line is just thinning we can camouflage the hair line back to where it should be. If your hair line is completely receded then you will need to maintain a short hair style to have the SMP not be noticeable.

Crowning

Crown balding can start at any age but for most men it starts in their mid 20’s following along side this a receding hair line, at either a slow or fast rate. As the crown losses more density over time the balance between the crown and hair on the back of the head becomes stronger.

Thinning

If you already have a relatively short haircut with minimal signs of hair loss at the moment, scalp micropigmentation can be a perfect way to enhance your hairstyle. Think of it like a touch up to boost the appearance of fuller, thicker hair—hence the name: density fill. Scalp micro pigmentation can be used over any apparent bald spots so that your overall hair’s appearance is uniform and flows evenly.

Entire Scalp

If you’ve reached the point of no return or prefer to shave your head, you can still take advantage of scalp micropigmentation to produce the look of a full head of hair. Instead of just enhancing your hairline, scalp micropigmentation can be used to completely restore your previous full-hair aesthetics. What to Expect when you set your appointment

Please be sure to schedule a consultation prior to booking your first session. At your consultation we will discuss the appropriate game plan to achieve your ideal results. We will establish the type of procedure needed as well as the amount of sessions needed to achieve your individual goals. In the cases of total loss we would mark out your natural hairline shape and adjusting side profiles where needed until you are happy. For clients with crown balding we will re-establish the your mid tones and follicle patterns. Clients are responsible for coming in with a shaved clean head. We will not be allowed to shave your head prior to the appointment. Clients keeping their hair length with crown balding should still have the hair trimmed from their first session.

Creating first layers of follicle tones with open density working into your existing hair line areas aka we will lay the foundation and add density in the next session. Session times are normally 3-9 hours depending on the procedure. Once completed we go through your 10 day aftercare information.

𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐

Working on your next layer of tones going in between your first session layer building up your density as well as repeating the procedure over the areas of concern making corrections and adjustments and treating any patching. Session times are a little longer on session 2. Once completed we go through your 10 day aftercare information again.

Additional sessions

Returning back from your 10 day healing period addressing any corrections or adjustments and treating any patching
