Microblading is a form of semi permanent and is one of the most known eyebrow enhancements. Contrary to popular belief, Microblading is not a great option for anyone with: large pores, oily skin, mature or sun damaged skin. 

 

Microblading is not your only option for semi permanent eyebrow solutions. Other procedures may better suit you depending on your skin type and a few other factors. You can still get the hair stroke look with Pixel blading or Nano strokes.  It is important to have a consultation before you select a service type.

Ombre Powder Brows are designed to give you a soft powder effect, very similar to brow powder, pencil, or pomade makeup. 

​

There are a few different style options for Ombre or Powder brows. Ombre means the blending of one-color hue to another, usually moving tints or shades from light to dark.

With an Ombre brow the tails (outside) of your brows will be darker and more filled in. As the brows transition closer to the bulbs (center) of the brows, the shading of the brows will lighten up and be less filled in. Whereas Powder Brows a more filled in and solid looking brows.

The shading effect can be done using a few different permanent makeup techniques. One of the most popular methods for Ombre brows is using a device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. The machine will use a cartridge containing either a single needle or specific needle configurations. A second technique we use is called Pixel Shading. This method is completed by using a special blade attached to a hand tool. Each dot used to create the shading effect delicately tapped in manually by your artist. Which method used depends on your skin type, preferred shading style or your artists professional preference.

Signature brows have hair strokes and shading. Which techniques used depends on your style preference, skin type and lifestyle. You can have a more hair stroke look with light shading to add texture and depth or more shading with minor hair strokes strategically placed to achieve your dream eyebrows. 

Textured, longer lasting hair strokes.

Pixel Blading is completed with a specific blade attached to a hand tool. The blade is configured so that the teeth of the blade are staggered so that each hair stroke is tapped in vs being carved in. This allows the skin to receive the hair stroke effect with the least amount of trauma. Because the needled on the blade are staggered the hair stroke itself is pixelated. This give the strokes a powder effect.

Your artist should always use specially formulated pigments when using a pixel blade. This is because the pigment will go slightly deeper and could ash out. Using a modified pigment ensures that the pigment doesn't ash out over the longevity of the procedure.
